I’m looking for a place to buy bulk (50lb) flours - low gluten (cake), unbleached, organic, whole wheat. We may be starting a small bakery and would like healthy ingredients. Costco is a good place for all-purpose flour, but not many selections. Does anyone know where to get low cost, but healthy flour supply? If there’s a mill nearby that would sell in such quantity (couple hundred pounds/month), that would be awesome (fresh!). Thanks.

We created a natural foods buying club and met the delivery truck (the same company that delivers to the health food markets) to pick up our wholesale order. We could order 25# bags & 50# bags.

Or you could connect with an existing natural foods coop like La Montanita:

Hope this helps!

Here's the place with whom we coordinated deliveries for our own food buying club:

Bongo,
That’s a very useful site. I checked the prices are they seem to be very reasonable on most of the items. Definitely cheaper than those in New England. Although I didn’t find the cake flour, they do have variety of selections.
Thanks.

There should be a whole wheat pastry flour. Wouldn't that work?

It might, after several trial and error. We could also use some gluten-free flour, but all the recipes will be somewhat different.

Peaceful I don't know if they have your products but I order 50# almond flour bags from honeyvillegrain.com. They ship fast and take credit cards and paypal.
