I agree Poncho....kids are kids, they jsut want to have fun and get candy! Some neighborhoods(mine included) have quit handing out the candy, so when we go, we are back in 40 minutes, bags half full. I dont care who comes by to t-or-treat us, as long as they arent growing beards and working full time jobs!
It's not the kids that pile their entire neighborhood into huge cars to go to the "rich" neighborhoods to get better candy. It's the adults. I've heard friends of friends discussing which neighborhoods/developments give out premium candy.
gotta love those rich neighborhoods. four hills or the enclosed complexes in the ne heights. i heard some people give out money. i wanna find those places!
We always buy candy for trick or treaters. We make sure to buy candy that we ourselves like, which is not difficult. Some years there are more visitors than others. Almost without exception they arrive by vehicle. I will turn on the entryway lights about at 6 and they are off by 8:30. My neighborhood is east of Tramway and very few children or teens live within the area. The younger ones can be cute.
Rich, your pics are cute as well. I would not be afraid to answer the door in your area but will still maintain my cut-off time! I think anyone with a dog would get bonus points from me....
Our neighborhood association used to have a fall fest on halloween night! Everyone in the neighborhood would join! became a hit.
