Why don't MOST motorcyclists in Albuquerque wear a helmet?

Actually, that is a faulty extension that completely (and purposely?) ignores the careful cost-benefit analysis done before such laws are recommended.

Besides, cars and trucks have many more safety features to protect the head than a helmet could ever provide. The government does continually encourage safer construction of automobiles.
