Yeah, another false statement.

That's pretty much the opposite of what I've experienced in ABQ. Albuquerque is pretty unique culturally, but if anything it swings more to the Portland, Austin, Brooklyn side of the scale.

Interesting list. People are always telling me I dress nice and I'm hardly a fashionista. Interesting still that I was born and raised right here in ABQ.

LLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I read this and laughed out loud! It's right on! But look at it this way: Unless you are a business professional working in an office DT, you don't need to dress up. Boots or tennis shoes. Jeans. A nice sweater in winter. A nice T-shirt in summer. As long as we're neat and clean -- who cares? And, yes, I've attended some 'upper' class parties and get-togethers, and, even then, people don't know how to dress here. But, again -- as long as we're neat and clean and as long as the people are nice -- who cares? Is what we wear really all that important? NM is not New York.

Albuquerque is definitely unlike DC. I thank God for that every day.
