I'm looking to purchase a house and there are several possibilities that might work for me but I have never owned a well and have no experience with well water or maintenance. If all things were otherwise equal but one had to chose between city water (Rio Rancho), a shared well or a dedicated (unshared) well, what do you think would be the best option?

I have had wells and city water in four states over the years. Never a shared well.

But everything is not equal. But if they were, I would want City Water over Well Water, and that is what I have in Rio Rancho.
