I'm moving to Rio Rancho in a few days but I don't want to go to a RRPS high school. My old school is like 10 mins away from my new home. Can I still go to my old school in Albuquerque?

Maybe, if you provide you own transportation.... I think you would have to check with both schools involved. You might have already found out by now...

Not sure how it works in NM. I know that years ago when we moved between school terms we had to pay tuition for one year so my daughter could return to her junior high school for the second year.

I have a co-worker who lives in RR. One of his daughters goes to RRHS and one to Cibola in ABQ. He's not here today so don't have any details. I think his one daughter wanted to go to Cibola because it had a better music program or something like that.

You would be out of your area. If everybody did that most kids would go to the "good" school in town. FYI I was a student teacher there in the 1991-1992 school year. Do they still have shops?
