I normally choose Burger King or Wendy's. They are different from each other and not too pricey. Wendy's has a decent assortment. Five Guys reminds me a little of Steak n Shake where I grew up, so I'll go there once in a while. I'm not waiting in line ten minutes to order any burger. You can get out of Wendy's with a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, fries and a drink for about $6 and that is all I want many times. I've been to Blakes once in ten years. Same with Whopper.

Burger King Whopper Jr. = $3.47 Frozen

Similar pricing as others I would say.
Here's an update.

I know some locals around Albuquerque who say this has been promised by In N Out before, but the company didn't deliver. Their thoughts are, they'll believe it when they see it!

This time is different. The owner of the company announced that In-N-Out is coming to NM.

2027? I actually think this is not worth the wait for a hype-burger.

What is weird is that in Phoenix their prices are lower than comparable fast food places, but in Dallas their prices seem to be higher. Also, the first few months the In & Out opened in the Dallas area the lines were ridiculous. Now everyone has tried it and it is no big deal. So, even though we don't need a new hamburger fast food chain in Albuquerque, they will get a lot of business the first 3 months, then they will only survive if they have better prices than Blakes.

Fist fights in the long line to order a burger will probably thin out the crowd.

In N Out is slow and deliberate about where they expand, just like Chick-Fil-A. They do a TON of research. And they won't open a store that isn't within 250 miles of a distribution center. They take things very seriously. Part of their mystique, I guess!

Well just look at Chik fil a, Raising Canes, Slim's Chicken. At least In-N-Out is still family owned and not a franchise. I like the simple menu and great prices. In-N-Out also pays their employees well. Personally, I'm waiting for El Pollo Loco and a great Korean Fried Chicken place. Maybe a Jollie Bees
