The HGTV Dream Home 2010 home site is along the Turquoise Trail between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, N.M. It is in the San Pedro Overlook gated community, Sandia Park, NM (Bernalillo County), about 20 road miles NE of Albuquerque.

Default HGTV 2010 Dream Home...

... is in Sandia Park, off the Turquoise Trail. Heard a snippit about it on tv and did a little research....

Pics and comments about the house and area are above. (Personally I don't think I like it- too modern for me.)

Cool

I looks a little like a strip mall but I'd win it.

However, superfan is annoying (like, wow). I wonder if my sock would fit in her mouth?

I'll take it! but geesh with almost 4000 sq ft you would think they could fit in a fourth bedroom somewhere. I know, the target audience for this kind of house does not need a fourth bedroom.

Win it, rent it (it would make a good movie set), snow bird to San Antonio south of Socorro.

It is a stunning take on the SW building but considering the current housing conditions I would think it more appropriate to build a much smaller and more affordable home.
