Working for JITB or at JITB? Which location, if it's the restaurant? I did not realize 2 people working at JITB could support 3 kids...must be management positions?

The area is south of I-40 and west of Coors. It's iffy, higher crime than other areas and the public schools there are not great. Also, you did not indicate what area of town you will be working in as commute time should be taken into account when you look at locations.
I never indicated you can't provide for yours. Just curious, if I may be so bold as to ask, where you are relocating from?

Coronado is on the east side of town, fairly centrally located. In my opinion, look on that side of town for apartments and schools. There's really no reason to look as far west as you are. Some really good ones of both are in the NE heights. I assume the 4 yr old will be going to K either this year or next. Ours goes to a private preschool which we love. PM me if you'd like more info on that.

What price range are you looking for and how many bedrooms do you need?

Sorry to interrupt, but I did a "search" of the forum like suggested (1st time user) but I'm having trouble discerning an answer to some of my relocation questions. If you don't mind, I'm going to jump into the thread.
I'm also looking at relocating (DTW to ABQ) with my wife and 13 month old due to a potential job opportunity. We're flying out in a couple of weeks and I'd like for my wife to get a reasonable (and quick) overview of the city. My potential new office would be in the central business district near the university. A reasonable commute would be preferable (but compared to Detroit anything outside of Manhattan is probably better). We've been told that the NE area in the foothills of some mtn range is nice. I'm trying to get something close to our current home. Is 4 beds, 3 or 4 baths, w/a basement, and 3 car garage available in that area. Range is in the $450-600'ish ballpark. School district is a plus but our child won't be pre-school age for several years.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
