The 40th Annual Sandoval County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo, August 9th, 2009. Bernalillo, New Mexico. There was a parade, food and
dancing in town prior to the rodeo on the first day, the 8th, Saturday. There were Junior Bullriders, bull riding, mutton bustin’,
barrel racing etc.

Great pictures!!

Will there be another one? Would love to go, but never know about these things until after.
I guess I should maybe buy a newspaper?

That Rodeo is not advertised that well, this is our third time. I like it cause it's cheap ($5.00) easy to get to, once you figure out where it's at. But my wife had to call to get the schedule...

Mutton Bustin' pretty neat, but not too many kids stayed on for more than a second or so.

After the event ran through, they more or less started over wth more events continued, but we were beat...

AlisonL:

Trying to figure out all the events is difficult, I tried to keep a thread, but it's really hit or miss.
