LOL.....I just like seeing our state move forward north and south and east and west. I see where Patrick Lyons (State Land Commissioner) also stated in the article that a 600 to 800 million Solar Farm is potentially planned out there also. Michael Daly president of Mesa Del Sol said that a year from now we won't even recognize Mesa Del Sol with all the new construction going on out there.

Go New Mexico !!

Looks like they're doing things to help local businesses as well....

Mesa del Sol signs agreement with South Valley center - New Mexico Business Weekly:

I guess I need to drive out there one day and see what it's all about.

I saw some great artist renderings at their site:

Mesa del Sol

We promised ourselves we'd knock out the revolving debt before we bought again, but it looks like we'll be shopping right around the time things really get hopping on the mesa. If they come through with what they're promising I think we'll be residents. I love taking in a concert at the Journal Pavillion, and it's right around the corner.

Seems like it's close enough to the Sunport for the jets to possibly be an issue (I'm thinking of my wife, I personally crane my head every time I hear the distinctive sound of one of Kirtland's F-16's overhead. I must say the 'Flying Tacos' moniker is a bit underwhelming. Doesn't quite have the ring of the 'Jolly Rogers' or the 'Wolfpack' squadrons.), what do you think 6/3?

Hmm....when you go out there and you exit off of Rio Bravo and cross under the Interstate and head south on University Blvd to get on out to Mesa Del Sol and you have to cross a large Canyon and it's 4 or 5 miles away from the Airport i'm guessing and when i was out there i never noticed any soiunds from the Airport of Kirtland AFB but your best bet is to take a drive out there on your day off and see what you think when your there as far as distance and any sounds from the Airports....

6/3

In the paper today there was a story of the new Mesa Del Sol project, do you have any pics of this Bradley?

Default thoughts on Mesa del Sol

Mesa del Sol

Do you really think it will be walkable? It looks exciting.... yet also looks like a big developed suburb.

What do y'all think?

Eh, I am excited, but I think your skepticism as to whether or not it will be walkable is accurate.
