My wife drinks LaMarca by the case, because it's cheap.
It's available in varying degrees of dryness. I only buy bone dry sparkling wines myself, but sweeter versions are available. Also, you can add various liqueurs to sweeten a dry sparkler. When I serve it as a welcoming drink I put out about 10 bottles of peach, raspberry, strawberry, elderflower, ginger, apple, lemon, lime, and other liqueurs and let my guests have fun experimenting.
Wilson Creek Almond Champagne is sweet. We used to go to the actual winery in Temecula to buy it, but it is now available in stores. Nevertheless, we still like to hit the wineries!
