A New Zealand brewery is unveiling a new beer especially brewed to complement your morning eggs and toast. Is that really a good idea?

I saw a blurb about Breakfast Beer yesterday. Supposedly, it has a cherry flavor. Cherry flavored hopps, doesn't sound very good.

I know lots of people who drink regular beer for breakfast. They do not seem to need any flavoring.

Those being nagged adout creeping alcolism can now point to the bottle and say 'look there Shela, says here this beer is made FOR breakfast.'

Its already been done. I've been drinking beer with Mexican breakfast food for the last 30 years. Chiliquiles, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo con huevos y papas, Menudo, Machaca etc.....

Tecate, Dos Equis, Bohemia, Modelo, Corona......

Cherry flavored Beer? WTF. My wife likes a nice light pilsner with breakfast food. Guess my people are ahead of the curve by about several hundred years.
