If you take a look at page 1 and 2 of this thread, you can actually read and follow along how the conversation transitioned.
It all started when people started expressing that their valuation of money is more correct than another persons, by saying that only a fool would spend so much money on a bottle of wine.

I am very much aware of how it stated but it is getting totally away from food and drinks in my opinion.
Why would you call them a parasite? Sounds like nothing more than jealousy to me.
I know a number of people who could spend like that if they chose to. They made their money through their own hard work and ingenuity--no one handed them anything.
Yes I am jealous that someone could spend that much on a bottle of wine rather than invest in America.
I'm jealous that a CEO makes the same as 180,000 average Americans.
I am jealous that one CEO gets every eighth dollar paid in to United health Care while others can not afford Health Care
I am jealous that 25 Hedge fund Operators cost the US $4 billion annually in taxes that you and I get to make up
Enjoy your wine
If I had $120K to blow, it is mind boggling to think how many people I could help in my neighborhood, who have a hard time coming up with the rent money, or need their old car repaired to get to work or child care. Imagine how that wine buyer would squeal if somebody suggested that he donate another $120K to a food kitchen.
It was. At least in part. If you do the math, you will find out that every drop of water probably contains at least one molecule that was once a part of the body of Jesus. So at least a molecules in that bottle of wine was probably also in the water that Jesus turned from wine.

Your assuming that wine buyer hasn't already given away a kings ransom to charity to help thousands?
Not assuming anything, that's the point or was that beyond your understanding of my post.
