My cultural and religious upbringing definitely permit the consumption of alcohol, but I never acquired a taste for it. DEAD LAST on my list is beer.
To me, it doesn't taste good, I've actually unsuccessfully tried to find alcohol that I like, and, on top of that, it's expensive.

Me, me, me!!!
I hate the stuff. Whether it's wine (dry or not), beer (brewed by my husband or not), hard liquor (mixed with something or not), or whatever... I just don't like the stuff. Even the smell makes me feel woozy.

I concur. I've not yet tasted a beer that I actually like. In fact, I've had to force myself to drink it, so I don't.

I like a few wines but I've never really been a regular drinker simply because of the taste. I'm the lightest consumer of alcohol in my family..
Wine, mostly meh. Hard liquor, meh. An occasional cocktail, yes.
I like beer, but on the day after Thanksgiving I bought a 12-pack of Pyramid Hefe because a friend was dropping by. He drank two, I drank one, and the rest are still sitting in the icebox.
I love dry white wines, beer is ok, hard liquor my preference is vodka with 7-up , or dirty martini. I don't drink often but when I do I enjoy it whole hardedly.

I could never get into the taste of alcohol so I'm a non-drinker. It's one less bad habit for me to deal with as I don't like the idea of getting drunk.
