My cultural and religious upbringing definitely permit the consumption of alcohol, but I never acquired a taste for it. DEAD LAST on my list is beer.
To me, it doesn't taste good, I've actually unsuccessfully tried to find alcohol that I like, and, on top of that, it's expensive.

Anyone have similar viewpoints?

I dislike it sometimes, usually at about 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Other times I like it intensely. Most of the time I'm not thinking about it.

Me, me, me!!!

I hate the stuff. Whether it's wine (dry or not), beer (brewed by my husband or not), hard liquor (mixed with something or not), or whatever... I just don't like the stuff. Even the smell makes me feel woozy.

I'll stick with Diet Coke.

I concur. I've not yet tasted a beer that I actually like. In fact, I've had to force myself to drink it, so I don't.

I like a few wines but I've never really been a regular drinker simply because of the taste. I'm the lightest consumer of alcohol in my family..

It's just like coffee, it takes getting used too. There are fantastic liquors that don't burn at all, and beer that are absolutely scrumptious.

Wine, mostly meh. Hard liquor, meh. An occasional cocktail, yes.

I like beer, but on the day after Thanksgiving I bought a 12-pack of Pyramid Hefe because a friend was dropping by. He drank two, I drank one, and the rest are still sitting in the icebox.

I guess I don't like it as much as I used to.

Yes. Really not interested in it much. Some things I rarely have, such as a small bottle of cider, but generally I can do without alcohol.

I love dry white wines, beer is ok, hard liquor my preference is vodka with 7-up , or dirty martini. I don't drink often but when I do I enjoy it whole hardedly.

I could never get into the taste of alcohol so I'm a non-drinker. It's one less bad habit for me to deal with as I don't like the idea of getting drunk.
