^ That's a pretty hot beer, 16.2%, more alcohol than table wine. Some day I'll get to Turning Point...

Plantation rum and ginger ale.

I guess the "Plantation" brand will have to be renamed.

I LOVE this brand. It is amazing.

Since it’s strawberry season, I made up a pitcher of strawberry daiquiri’s with Bacardi light. The crushed ice was refreshing and the lime gave them nice tart taste. Nice change from dinner wine.

I primarily drink Perfect Rob Roys on the rocks with a twist of lemon if I have lemons. I mix it up some with Perfect Manhattans made with Rye whiskey. G&Ts some during the hot weather. Margaritas with Mexican Food. Sake with Sushi. IPA or a Stout with Pizza. Bloody Marys with Brunch. Often end the night with a glass of single Malt Scotch or a Brandy, both drunk neat.

Drinking a glass or two of pinot grigio on ice with a fresh dark cherry dropped in because I like the way it looks. Waiting on a pizza from a small local place that does specialty authentic Italian pizzas. Not something you find much in South Louisiana.
