Yesterday I finally opened up a bottle that has been in my liquor cabinet for something like 10 years!

Camus VSOP Cognac.

It comes in a very pretty bottle ... elegantly "faceted."

My friend Robert and I tried it. We were not impressed. Tasted similar to so many other amber spirits, like whiskey.

Maybe it's an acquired taste?
