Had some Chili beer from a local brew-pub, also a fine doppelbock. The Chili beer was pretty great, the spiciness doesn't appear until the finish. Very refreshing.
Also tried a sample of their "True Spruce" Amber Ale flavored with spruce tips... now that was an interesting brew, very unique, very good.
If you get a chance to check out Blue Spruce Brewing Company in Centennial, CO, do it.
A really nice tempranillo that we got a good case price on, and gave most away as Christmas presents. The last few bottles, we brought to a party tonight.
