A Reddit user submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for the White House Honey Ale recipe, or any other brews from the White House, including the Honey Porter or the Honey Blonde Ale. All three get their honey from the first lady's garden.

It's the first formal request for the recipe, according to the Fedblog. The petition was filed on the White House website. It needs 25,000 signatures by Sept. 17 before it goes to review.
