Do you ever have that moment of clarity...where you realize you've had too much to drink ?? I sent emails out to all my friends and family telling them how much I love them. Wine goggles...Ahhh !

Ya, I'm doing it right now and hope I don't get any infractions..haha.. But to be fair we had a birthday party here, I don't usually drink too much. And it was champagne, not wine, and that just goes down SO EASY!

Nothing wrong with drinking too much. All the PC anti-fun bubble-wrap brigade can go suck a bottle.

Infact, the only reason I buy booze is to improve my personality, alter reality for the better and bring my fantasies to life. To hell with sobriety I say

I'm talented.

No, actually, two glasses is all it takes to get me silly, I think I was three glasses in when I posted. Guess I'm a light-weight.

2 glasses, guess you are a light weight::: I will tell you when too much hits, probably this evening. My step mom passed away this morning and now all the arrangements, phones calls etc have to be made. I do not like the telephone without a glass of wine sitting in front of me, asking to be consumed...

Be careful nita. When MY mother in law passed away, I came home from the funeral home after making the arrangements, opened the wine and got online to buy my daughter a ticket to fly home from NYC for the funeral.
When she got to the airport on the day she was supposed to fly, she had no ticket. "Someone" had booked it for the FOLLOWING Tuesday.

Oops.

I feel for you tomorrow but I'm glad you are happy right now. We don't like the taste of straight champagne and we are not drinkers anyway so when we are faced with the champagne dilemma we hope they also have sparkling white grape juice available for the children. That way we can mix our champagne with the sparkling white grape juice and we all have happy bubbles to enjoy.
