Any Gin. I got sick as a dog on gin and tonics 40 years ago and to this day, the smell of gin nauseates me

Flavored malt beverages - Smirnoff Ice, etc.
Cheapo fruity wines - Riunite, Boones Farm, etc.
Anything involving mixers with sugar.
Any wine over $20/bottle if one is not a wine enthusiast or buying it for someone who is.
Cognac, unless you've had it before and like it.
Alize.

Anything that's too sweet. Sure way to drink too much and it's often some cheap rot gut that is used.

I've never met a malt liquor that I liked. Sure they're great for getting blackout drunk, but that's it.
Any flavored vodkas or bourbons. If I want it flavored, I'll add my own.
Any of the hard ciders. Way to sugary for me.
Uzo or Jagermeister. The licorice flavor is nasty.

Anything sold at a store that doesn't sell liquor, as a mix...like Manhattans in a bottle...no.
For me, I hate any drink with sugar in it, like Margaritas or Cosmos, or whatever.

The exception is those tubs of margueritas, or whatever, where you dump a bottle of tequila or vodka and freeze it, then scoop it out for a party. That's a fun way to serve a party.

LOL, what a great idea for a thread, I suggest steering clear of the following (your mileage may vary):
- Coolers. Total 1980s high school flashback.
- Rosé wines. They aren't real wine, you can't pair them properly with any food either, just don't...
- Craft beers that are described as very "hoppy", that is, they taste more bitter than the bitterest bitterness that you've ever tasted
- Mead, it's really just potpourri in a bottle
- overpriced whisky ... why pay more for a taste of liquified tire fire?

As I said... your personal preferences may vary.

Lots of double IPAs don't taste very hoppy at all. They do if they're west coast IPAs, not so with New England IPAs.

Unless you're familiar with it and know you like it, never ever accept a Cement Mixer!

Most dangerous shot ever served to me was a Spark Plug
Yukon Jack with Barcardi 151 layered on top and lit aflame.

Agree. Anything pre-made with high fructose corn syrup? No way.
