I like my vodka straight. But there is an old Lithuanian liqueur called Krupnik which is basically mulled grain alcohol, heavy on honey and cinnamon although lots of herbs/spices may be used. It's a traditional winter drink dating back a couple of centuries. The mass produced versions typically use an 80 proof grain vodka as the base instead of the higher potency grain alcohol, and that's what you'll find in most of the home recipes for the stuff. Anyway, great stuff on a cold winter's night.
