I remember seeing NO2-propelled whipped cream on sale for 25 cents a canister. My roommate bought every single one the store had, about 20 of them. The cashier said, "Making some cake?".
Does that mean all grains, actually all carbohydrates will be restricted because they too could ferment? This has to be a joke or just an isolated idiotic incident. I suppose yeast is now considered contraband by the store too. Plus, people shouldn't be in the stores since fermentation can take place in ones own digestive tract. So stupid and yet so funny.
Grocery stores have the stupid ruled...the one here cards everyone. ...and I do mean everyone...including 80 year olds.
My wife and I were in a Walmart. We were getting a few things including beer as we were headed to a cookout that night. My wife, who is active duty USAF, was in uniform and I was paying. At the time I was 34 and my wife was 31. I had my ID but my wife left her drivers license and CAC card in the car. They would not sell me the beer because of my wife. At the time her rank was O-3. I asked the checker how many captains are under 21. She understood but said rules are rules and everyone in line must present an ID. No beer was bought at Walmart that day.
