I quite like 'em overall, although I've had a few that just didn't work for me.

They nicely demonstrate one of the many things that are are great about beer; so many different flavors fall under the umbrella of "beer".

I really like gose-style beers! So crisp and refreshing. And lambics are a good accessible sour option.

Not a fan. Most of the breweries around here have gose beers, so I've tried them and tried to like them. It's not happening.

What exactly is a sour beer? Is that like a lambic? Lambic's are very funky and almost more wine like. They are very "cheesy" on the nose if that makes any sense. Very different and I almost don't really consider them beer but I kinda dig them.

Some. I'll take Cantillon's all day.

OEC makes some great ones too. Hill Farmstead some very good ones.

Not generally a big gose fan though. But Lost Nation makes a drinkable one for a commercially available gose.

I've never tried one... I'm curious now though. There aren't very many available up here.

What does gose beer taste like? I've seen a couple brands that said that at the store, but didn't want to buy it in case I ended up not liking it.

Default Sour Beer - Do You Like It?

Beer has its own flavor.

All of this silly light beer, sour beer, fruit beer, whatever is for fancy metrosexuals.

Nome sane?

Tried a sour farmhouse last night, Elk Valley La Ferme. And won't likely try a sour ale for a while. The citrusy grapefruit notes and flavors were just too much.

I don't think I've ever even seen a sour beer, but the idea has me intrigued. Is this some microbrew thing or is there a couple bigger brands that can be found regularly nationwide?
