I'm having a Halloween party and was gonna make an alcoholic punch vs just buying it straight for ppl to drink. My sister wants me to make Skippers (beer vodka and frozen pink lemonade) but I kinda wanted something else as long as its tasty and ppl can get a good buzz off of it any good recipes anyone knows about?

Well...back in the olden days when I went to lots of parties, everyone had a big batch of Purple Jesus...equal parts of grape juice, vodka & ginger ale...very tasty, everyone loved it.

When I was in the military, true "jungle juice" meant everyone brought a bottle of something/anything or a juice/mixer, and it was all poured into a trash can (lined with a bag). People just dipped their cups in the can and added ice. There was no telling what alcohol and/or juice was in the "jungle juice."

It's no wonder there is a problem with alcohol abuse in the military.

I always thought jungle juice was just a bunch of cheap alcohols mixed together. The mixers are usually sugary and brightly colored so you get a drink that's usually blue, green, or purple.

I haven't tried this, but this seems to be what you're looking for:

I'm not sure how safe it is how to people drinking something that contains dry ice, but it looks cool and Halloween-y.

What we called "Purple Passion" back in the old days: Welch's frozen grape juice concentrate and Everclear.

A little bit goes a long way.

My uncle who was a bartender made the best Jungle juice. Unfortunately when he died so did the recipe. I remember 2 key ingredients though, white zinfandel and country time pink lemonade. Trust me when I say a few cups gets you F....ed up! It tastes good going down.

I always thought jungle juice was when you had a bucket of chopped fruits you poured some kinda alcohol in, and let it sit for a while, then poured it off, and you could eat the fruits, and keep the buzz going later.

I've never heard of jungle juice. What Knox describes was called Wappatooli in my circle.
