I'm partial to my own home brewed. Particularly the belgian styles and stouts. Commercially, I like Duvel, Chimay (Blue and White), Piraat, Houblon Chouffe, Brooklyn's Chocolate Stout, Ten Fidy, and Bigfoot are a few of my faves that spring to mind.

AN - I should give A'ville a chance and head up that way and find your Brewery . . . have never tried it out! I get sad when I go to A'ville - so much has changed but maybe I need to find some of the neat places and head your way. Thank you so much for the info. A good ale is a nice find . . .

San Miguel is from the Philippines (we have to check the International store in Tryon(?)/South Blvd to see if they sell these!). The Asian beers are available at most sushi and other Asian restaurants. There is a Thai beer also but I forget the name. Sapporo seems harder to find than Kirin. TsingTao is mild and smooth.
