Any top shelf dark Rum on the rocks was my favored drink....I've enjoyed Bacardi Black as well.

25 years ago my sister went to St. Kitts on vacation and brought me a bottle of rum made on the island. I haven't really enjoyed any other rum since that bottle went dry.

It's hard to describe the flavor - pure sugar, some caramel and vanilla notes. It was fabulous, and it spoiled me.

Other than Bacardi, I don't know much about brands of rum. I love a mug of hot buttered rum on a cold night.

I really enjoy Appleton Estate Rare Casks 12, El Dorado 15, Clement XO, and Doorly’s XO.

The world of aged rum can be tricky to navigate, but when you find something good, it’s really good.

Are there other hot rum drinks besides Hot Buttered Rum?

I just dumped an entire bottle of Bacardi white. It had a horrible chemical taste - and it wasn't an old bottle at all.

Guess the fruitcake will be made with bourbon this year.

The last rum I drank was a tiny bottle of RumChata, but it was yummy.

That'd be my first choice. This came up in conversation the other day. I've always considered myself more of a bourbon or scotch whisky drinker. Then I checked the liquor cabinet. I found; Bacardi 151, Bacardi silver, Meyer's dark and Captain Morgan's. I guess I do like my rum.

Cheer's! *Raises glass*

I like rum, but in mixed drinks, not straight.
Rum and root beer or cream soda, daiquiris, pina colada...
