I drink Michelob light when I drink beer. What do you like to drink when it comes to beers?

John

We love microbrews, especially here in the Pacific northwest. Our favorites are from Silver City Restaurant and Brewery in Silverdale, Wa. Mack and Jack's African Amber is good, too. Available only on tap in the northwest.

For bottled beers we like Alaskan Amber, Negro Modelo, Sierra Nevada and Tequiza. Tequiza is our lawnmower beer - when you really need something to cool off...it's best when it's been the freezer for 30 minutes.

In our younger years we drank mostly Coors, Bud and some light beers, but as we've gotten older (than dirt) we require more flavor.

At the risk of insulting John1960 and others, I'll repeat my posting from an earlier thread:
A quote from the bar mirror at River City in Wichita, Ks:
"People who drink light beer don't really like the taste of beer, they just like to pee a lot."

Lately, our favorite household beer is Blue Moon. We're also fond of the Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer. I also enjoy Michelob's Amber Bock and that's what I order with my prime rib at Outback Steakhouse. We usually just split a beer or two with our meal a couple times a month.

Red Stripe, Yuengling, Guinness, and Blue Moon are faves. I also enjoy microbrews a lot though.

I don't like beer, although I love the smell of it, (probably nostalgia; my granddad used to drink Coors, which my husband also used to drink). My husband sometimes drinks Corona, with lime. He also drinks Killian's. My son drinks Guinness. My daughter, who is stationed in Germany with her husband, likes the German beers. She no longer likes the American beers, although, out of desperation, she did drink Blue Moon, (I think that's the right one), when she was home for a visit over the summer. Said it was a little closer the German beers. She just thinks that American beers are too weak, which compared to German, is probably true.

German beer! Always glad to try different ones.
Polish beer - Zywiec. Probably available only in Chicago.
Domestic beer - Augsburger, it's brewed (old world recipe) in Potosi, Wisconsin.
