IMO Redbreast 12 punches way out of its weight class.

If y'all like the 12 - give the 15yo a try.

It's pricey, but the flavor is outstanding

I like the 15 more than the Cask Strength 12 - and I love that
.

Bushmills makes a Single Malt Irish (Green label, I think) that is really great

I got a bottle of Readbreast 15 for our wedding present. 4.5 years ago. That stuff is great, I only pull it out for special occasions, and still have a scant couple of pours left. Yum!

My sentiments exactly. In the past, I was a fancy drink person. White Russians, Black Russians, Rum & Coke, anything to cover up the taste of that stuff. Then I bought a bottom shelf Bourbon called Evan Williams. OMG, what a discovery! The smoothest thing I have ever tasted.

This is the lower priced black label stuff, but I have zero desire to pay more for anything else. It's just ridiculously good to drink in a glass w/ a few fingers of water. If you're not a Bourbon drinker, pick up a bottle sometime and try it, it's like a religious experience. At $15 a bottle, its cheaper than holy water.
