I might be spelling this wrong....Ackadoma wine. it was a military favorite that was broke down in the lab. Jet fuel, urine, alcohol and other natural flavorings...lol

How many vets went blind drinking this stuff?

I left the central coast of California about 10 years ago so I'm not sure that they still make it, but there was a small vinyard/winery called LAURAS. They made a white table wine that was delicious, delectable and should have been a sin to enjoy as much as I did! About $7 a bottle. The central coast [San Luis Obispo-Paso Robles-Santa Ynez] is really starting to challenge Napa for quality grapes/wines.

Avalon - a Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Deep, rich, red wine, with a lovely taste, full on the back of the tongue--no bitter tannin taste.

However it's $10.99 rather than under $10 and worth the ninety-nine cents....

If you like Cabernet, Excelsior from South Africa is amazing. It goes for about 8.50 a bottle.

Also there is a VERY popular wine flying off the shelves from California now called Menage A Trois by Fol a Deux. It's a mixture of Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet. AWSOME ! ! at 9.00.

We always have a 5 liter box of Franzia chardonnay in the refrigerator. I bought it after reading a review in the paper, and we like it for every day drinking. I keep bottles of lots of different wines in the house, I'm willing to try whatever is on sale.

I could have called this the "Lisa Marie Presley, what's so discerning about liking Opus One?" You would have had to watch that Oprah show.

Anyway, me first. Crane Lake, any kind, $3.99.

PS: If you only like white zinfandel, don't even bother.
Crane lake is awesome for just 4 bucks. I think two buck Chuck is pretty darn tasty for 2 dollars.

Recently discovered "Menage a Trois" at a wine tasting party.

A zin/merlot/cab blend out of Napa. About 9.99 at Target.
