If you or anyone you know is afflicted with this condition, what do you use for lube instead? What works without aggravating anything?

Walgreens - Albolene

It's actually a makeup remover but one of the best lubes you'll find. Don't laugh... it's the best and works great.

Really? Interesting. And it doesn't affect you down there? Very interesting. I'd find it curious if a girl is allergic to conventional lubricant, but not to this stuff.

Nope - Hypoallergenic since it's a makeup remover. I keep a jar in the nightstand and know several women who will give it 2 thumbs up.

Being in SF you'll appreciate that the product was told to me by one of my gay friends. It's big in the gay community if you know what I mean. It's an excellent lubricant that the body easily accepts. It does not get all gummy or sticky.

Have an open mind. But spit does work well also.

It can change the Ph balance internally, and cause infections, as you've discovered. Why do you need lubricant anyway? Women manufacture their own lubricant. If you know what you're doing, and you're not rushing things, it shouldn't be a problem.

Sometimes a woman's natural lubricant is too watery and thin to make penetration pleasureable. So a lubricant is needed

Uhhh... After 45 or 50 many women don't get as lubricated as it did at 25.
