Unless there is a miracle, I am 110% confident that I have food allergies. The food allergy test will be conducted in a matter of weeks. In the meantime, I was advised to list out possible suspects. My list includes the normal suspects (nuts, dairy, eggs, possibly wheat, shellfish and peanuts). My reactions vary based on the suspect, which ranges from slightly compromised breathing, hives, 3-4 day rash(dermatitis), itching, and to extreme bloating(I look like a pregnant man)). I am not at the diagnosis phase yet, but I would like to know your experiences throughout the process. Additionally, all recommendations are welcomed too.

Finally, I have the pleasure of enjoying extreme gas and acid reflux. Are those 2 characteristics allergy related?

Could be. I could not have the scratch/skin test b/c of 2 meds I take, which reduce the histamine response. I had the blood test which is slightly less sensitive. I have multiple mild allergies which combine to give me a mild all-over itchiness. I take zyrtec at night which keeps it under control. Good luck!

For starters I have allergic reactions to dairy, wheat, corn, strawberries, peppers, fish, news print ink and the list goes on.
Glutten free diet is the way to go to reduce or eliminate many food allergies. Check that out.
