I have a runny nose, sneezing, face and neck are itchy. I have a cough and feel a bit congested. It doesn’t help that I am at work and work with a woman who has a very strong scented wax warmer that seems to be making my condition worse.. What medication do you recommend?

To me itchyness is a dead giveaway to allergies. Colds generally come with heavy congestion. Generic pseudafed works well for us. It's very inexpensive and is available OTC but you have to get it at the pharmacy.

A cold will not go away if you change your environment. When you go home from work, does it eventually go way? Come back at work? Not a cold, but something causing an allergic reation at work.

I discovered only last year that I have a pollen allergy. Thought I had a cold too, but after I was indoors for a few hours the symptoms went away; only to return when I went back outside or in my now yellow/greenish previously grey car. Pollen allergy.

The only solution to that is antibiotics. I had that once. It was horrible for me.
