Has anyone ever had swollen lips that lasted for at least 4 days? I wonder if this is from a food allergy.

Sounds like it. Are there any cuts, blisters or sores?

No cuts, blisters, or sores. No new meds. Never had a food allergy or other allergies have this type of reaction.

Does it get better with benadryl?

Have you started using a different lip gloss or tooth paste or other product around the lips? It's odd for it to just stay swollen for four days with no improvement unless you're exposing yourself to it repeatedly without realizing it.

Also have you started using a different toothpaste of mouthwash, a friend had that problem and the toothpaste was the issue for her.

I have had a problem after using OTC tooth bleaching solution. Have you used that?

A sudden swelling of my lips that would come and go was the first indication I had allergies. I agree with the posters who said to look for something new you have either used or eaten. I believe mine swelled because it happened a few days after I started drinking green tea daily. This led to allergy tests which revealed many things I need to avoid. So far, with the green tea and other things out of my diet, the swollen lips have never returned.
