So, last night, I baked some chocolate chip cookies. I usually use all-purpose flour whenever I bake cookies, but this time I only have the bleached self rising one in the fridge(my mother-in-law gave me a bag since she has a few).
I ate a couple last night after I baked them and of course they were so good. But after an hour or so I started to have an upset stomach and it lasted for hours. It's the same pain I have after I eat eggs but it doesn't happen whenever I eat some food/dessert with eggs in them, only when I eat eggs by itself.
So I thought maybe it's my supper that gave me an upset stomach. So I ate a couple of cookies again this afternoon and made my stomach ache again but this time It wasn't as bad as last night. Never had that problem before until last night. So frustrating!
So I guess my question is, is it possible to have a sensitivity to a certain flour?
If your fine with regular flour, then it must be the leavening agent you are allergic to. That's the only difference between the two.
