This is interesting as I've been eating more ham off the bone lunch meats in the last year or so and find more congested than I've been in over 20 yrs....I take the powerful grape seed ex and that has kept me congestion free for a couple decades and lately some congestion, could it be the ham>?????

I'll have to go off it for a while and go with some roast turkey slices .. the congestion isn't bad enough for a drug for sure, but I notice it.

Foods can definitely be the culprit.

Any food that is aged/cured or is not that fresh can have a LOT of histamine and other amines in it. This can be very problematic for some people.

I know when I eat cream-cheese, I have no problem with it......but when I eat sharp cheddar-cheese, which is aged and known to be high in histamine, I many times start sneezing, even itching if I eat a lot.
