Hello,

I have been having a hell of a time with my throat and chest pressure due to exposure to Mold spores which are horrible this summer and I am wondering is there anyway to stop this??

Any medicine one can take to stop this horrible reaction? (I have been having many symptoms and I think its all due to these dreadful things)

I am outside alot so I guess being exposed to them cant be helped but i dont remember this ever happening!!

I looked up mold spore allergy symptoms and it sounds like what Im getting!!

Will this stop when it gets colder??

Any other sufferers?? (I certainly hope not)

What's different about this year? New location? Exposures to new things (like a new workplace, new house, different job outdoors)? Unless you live in some sterile desert molds are everywhere. Since this sounds like something recent and because "molds" are ubiquitous, there could be something else contributing to it. Allergies can come and go during your life. Sure, it could be mold but there are many many different types of mold. Start off seeing your GP about it. A steroid-based inhaler or antihistamine could help a lot. Can't speculate. If you need to dig into it farther your GP could refer you to an allergist who could pin down what you are actually reacting to. It might not be mold.
