This is the weirdest thing, years ago I bought a very nice down comforter, and I slept under it for a few years with no problems, but about 6 months ago, I started getting very itchy when I laid in bed, ( at one point, I thought it may be psychological type itching ( a tick/complex), but as Ive been recently sleeping on my couch until I get a new bed and using a basic fleece blanket, the itching is gone!
Another weird part of this, when I started to suspect the down comforter, I bought another comforter, made with basic polypropylene type fill and a cotton shell...same thing, I started itching not long after using it!
Ive had it with sleeping on the couch, Im buying new EVERYTHING this weekend.
It sounds like dust mites. I am highly allergic too. When I was young I was The Kleenex Girl. I literally had a runny nose/congestion every day until college, when I realized that most people did not get congestion when they went to bed. It could be a pillow or mattress. Once you get new stuff, wrap them in the allergy covers.
Bug-creatures that live in your bed can cause a buildup of allergy-provoking nastiness.
Im assuming they are microscopic, Sometimes I feel like Im being bitten by a bug, but when I look at the spot on my skin, there is NOTHING there, this happens pretty frequently actually, dust mites I guess, but strange that they have never bothered me this bad before.
Ive seen bed bugs and baby bed bugs, the babies are small, but still visible when they are on your skin, so I know its not bed bugs
Well, think about it. What's the common denominator here? Its not the comforter!
