Just wondering? I love essential oils. My favorites are lavender, geranium, clary sage and neroli. Lavender is so relaxing and neroli is very cheery and uplifting. I've read quite a few books on aromatherapy and have mixed my own "perfumes", fun!
I've found that peppermint oil really works when I have a headache. And I use tea tree oil for blemishes, works great.

I love using essential oils. I take aromatherapy baths all the time, I use them to make massage oils and home remedy moisterizers, and I also use them in aromatherapy lamps/diffusers to scent my home. My favorites are lavender, frankincense, rose, jasmine, neroli, cinnamon, lemon, peppermint, and eucalyptus. One thing I also like to do is put a little lavender oil on my hands and gently rub the scent onto my pillows, just a little though because the scent can be overpowering if you put too much. The scent of lavender helps me sleep so much better.

katzenfreund, since you like mixing your own you might like this combination:
2 parts rose oil with one part neroli and one part lemon oil. Smells yummy!

For those new to the joys of essential oils, only use 100% pure essential oils. The synthetic ones have no healing properties and they end up smelling horrible, particularly if you wear them as a perfume.

Thank you Tao, ist SOUNDS heavenly... I love lemon essential oil. You are 100% right. Even since I started using essential oils, I really can't stand the synthetic oils and they certainly don't have the same effect.

Default rose water and rose oil

Hi there,

February i purchase rose oil to try it in my home cosmetic. It was a difficult decision because the rose oil is way more expensive than i usually pay for EOs.
Anyway since i try to prepare the home cosmetic with it /face cream and body lotion/ i figured it out that the combination of the rose oil and jojoba oil makes some difference with my skin. Then i decided that actually the rose oil makes the difference.
Now, i'm huge fan of the rose oil /and rose water as a daily moisturizer/. Unfortunately the price is higher but you need just a few drops to make a dose of skin cream.
The cheapest place for rose EO for now is Organic Bulgarian Rose Oil (Otto) | Rose Water | Buy Pure Essential Rose Oil, Rosa Damascena
