One of my favorite things to do when in Panama City for a visit is the pop off to Isla Contadora for a few days to escape. Its an easy Ferry ride away and the island is isolated in a way that you can find a beach to yourselves with no hassles. I love the lack of cars on the island (use a golf cart to get around), eating fresh fish at Gerald's and watching the deer walk by. Also just having a beer and sharing the beach with no one but my wife and daughter is awesome.
Not that hard to get away from the city if you look a bit deeper.
I am sorry but I guess you didn´t understand the op's post, it clearly says Panama not Colombia.
Yes and as you can see I referenced dirty Panama city and continued on from darkremy's and ericoldtimer's comments where they referenced Colombia and Argentina.
I have once! The only thing is that it was near empty when I went. Which was good for privacy, but not the typical "nude beach" experience most would expect.

That beach is called "Playa Holandesa" and the problem is that in order to get there, you have to travel to Contadora first and not many people like or want to go there just to get butt naked.
I was born n raised in Panama, lefyt when I was 26..
I am going to retire there thismonth, and have been back twice in the last 9 years.
While there are many attractive things: The San Blas, the food (!!!) the shopping!, the relatively inexpensive rentals houses for rent of for sale....
With all that, I am well aware of the downside of living in Panama...
Maybe because I was raised there, I am more tolerant or forgiving...,
We shall see what develops!
Meanwhile, I am returning to Panama, la patria mia!!!!!
Does anyone know the whereabouts of Bruce Quinn, who was a theater director in the Canal Zone?
His sister, Pat Quinn was my 6th grade girlfriend..she grew up yo marry Tommy Leonetti, the singer, and she was an actress, most notably in the movie Alice's Restaurtant, the Woody Guthrie Story.
The last time I was in Panama, in Metrocentro I saw a plaque with his handprints in clay, so I am wondering if he's still around...
All I can do is suggest that you move OUT OF PANAMA, and into a country that will suit you more.
(Although it appears that there isnt a country that will satisfy you, picky queen that you are.
I'm moving to Panama soon (I was born n raised there) and I hope you are GONE before I get there.!
I'll bet you scream there's a bug in your salad every time you eat out !
Yes, thank you so much for taking the time to answer this creep.
(Do you think he has moved out yet)???
