They get along just fine. And the term African American is wrong. It's simply Black American. I'm going to keep telling people not to say it, until they get the point.
Black Americans (not African Americans, such a stupid name) get along just fine with Afro-Latinos. I guess. The reality is they get along with blacks until the find a way to seperate themselves from blacks. So that they can not be "lumped in" with black Americans. You know so they don't inherit all of the disadvantages of being black in America. Despite blacks in America are far richer, have far more talented, and have far more power than blacks anywhere in the world. Despite being lower percentage of America's population compared to blacks anywhere else in the world. As to where the logic comes from, who knows. But Black Latinos never struck me as being all that smart to begin with.

Colorism exists everywhere my friend...in Latin American, in Asia, even in sub sahara africa. Its everywhere. Its a fact of life that that the people who talk about it tend to be the most ignorant. Colorism even exist between th young black american demographics with all the light tone, medium tone, black down...even though racist people see black americans the same.
To say that you hate latin american because of colorism means you hate the rest of the world. I also hate colorism. But i dont HATE a continent for it, that is such a hard word
