Currently there is an amazing thriving food scene in Baja California, Mexico where chefs are creating unique foods using local ingredients, especially sea food, and pairing it with local wines. It is a growing foodie destination. I have been to quite a few of the budding restaurants that are garnering international attention and just love what is going on there.
Does anyone know of other thriving food scenes in Latin America?
I've heard alot about Peru and am planning a trip there. I would like to know of any special places or foods that are recommended.
