The bold sounds extremely unexposed. Are you even familiar at all with the various cultural influences in the non-Spanish speaking Caribbean? A number of the former English colonies speak Kreyol due to the French influence and other aspects of their cultures reflect the same. Not to mention the South Asian (East Indian) influences, Chinese influences, Amerindian presence in places such as Dominica and St. Vincent. Even the influence of the Spanish in certain places. The heritages of the people are certainly recognized and celebrated, most certainly including the African, as that is what makes the nations what they are today.

OK so if a cultural influence comes from Spain it is Spanish. But if a cultural influence comes from Africa it isn't African?
What is your thinking behind it, because you are the one who says that Cubans speak exactly like people from Tenerife. You didn't say that it isn't Spanish because of your claim that all Cubans speak alike.
Then you proceeded to credit all black Cuban culture to a WHITE Cuban! Yes all of those African influences on the food, music, dance, religion, mannerisms, and yes speech of Cubans, all created by ONE white man!
If Cuban blacks have encountered bigotry then you think that if they passively accept it, and don't react to it, this is a good thing? And if they doreact against it they are becoming Anglo Saxon racists?

The only black african people in Argentina are immigrants ( and very recent ) from Nigeria, Angola and Namibia. Many of them speak terrible spanish and make a living by selling things on the street. In Argentina as well as Chile, these are the only blacks you see. There was never any african influence nor slavery practiced here.
Uruguay is different. You see quite a few blacks there, also on the border regions of Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina they speak a local dialect of a mix of spanish, portuguese and native american words and lots of the folks up in that area have african ancestry. I cant remember what they call this local dialect, but in all 3 countries in that border area, all of the locals speak it.
