I've been looking around on travel info, and it seems like for many countries (like Peru) you just need a valid passport and a two way plane ticket. Is that it? It seems too easy, I know to travel back to my home country you need to apply like a year in advance, get permission, paperwork, etc. Isn't there anything else required to travel to Peru?
Alot of these countries require a visa fee upon entry when you go through customs. Arg charges like $113 bucks, Chile I think it was like $130 last I checked....don't remember
Paraguay wanted to charge me a $60 dollar day pass just to cross the border from Arg to Paraguay but Brazil didn't cost me a dime, nor did Uruguay. Just make sure check about any of these types of fees.

It's been awhile since I spent my 10 months in South America.
But, I needed a Yellow Fever vaccination prior to entering Brazil. I am not sure if that is still the case.
