Not to be annoying or anything but She is going to win. I wouldn't vote for her neither. Bernie lives in a socialistic parallel universe that would never work anyways. Glad he is out. Trump is bat**** crazy...We just have no option really

One of those "just want a change, come what may" types hey?

Throw caution to the wind America and deteriorate further.

I cancelled the trip scheduled at Fernando de Noronha scheduled next month.

Peruvians I know were right when they told me, Brazil sux.
I don't agree- in this particular circumstance, it doesn't seem like it was. Is it believable that the Americans pissed everywhere and broke something? Absolutely. I'vee seen them do things like this in foreign countries,. Its quite embarrassing actually. Did the cops/security guards take advantage of the situation? Probably.

I have been to Barra da Tijuca where this occurred- it is an upscale and quite tranquil place. Their stories weren't adding up.

You are free to do as you like and travel where you please, but I personally don't listen to people's opinions about neighboring countries. Also, its not like Peru is some safe haven. My best friend actually saw a guy get killed in cold blood coming out of a nightclub in Lima. He was shot in front of everybody.

Things can happen to you anywhere really. People need to be humble whrn they travel, and have respect for the local country and people, regardless of the political situation there.

I've lived in 5 continents and spent most of the last 15 years in mostly 3rd worldish countries and my South American friends all warned me against going to Rio....if I were to believe the Brazilian claim (and I currently do not), Americans did $50 worth of damage to a door and paid over $11,000 in damages at gunpoint...to me, that's robbery.

Hey anyone come to my house pees on my property or breaks my stuff and thinks I am not going to do something about it they are out of their mind. I think if they just got money taken to pay for the damages they got off easy because in many other situations they would have got the crap beat out of them in addition to that. When you are in another county ex a guest in someone else's home you should be even more respectful.

Who walks around with $11 000 cash on vaction? This is also a respect thing. There is a principle to this as well. The ways this guys acted was disgraceful. What would happen if they did that in the USA? Do you think the store owner would be like okay cool... no problem? In certain states they could been shot dead. I could think of many places where they would have beaten to a death and no amount of money offered to pay for the damages could have changed that.

This doesn't apply to Americans- the 'poor boys' were drunk and didn't know what they were doing. It's the third world bullies that do things to them. Lol

Interestingly, if they had been Black Americans, they wouldn't get the same treatment or special excuses made for them.
