In today's Listín Diario newspaper appears this.

It says: "More than 20,000 people enjoyed La Gran Celebración (The Great Celebration - the New Year's Eve concert on the malecon of Santo Domingo) 2023 New Year."

Then the logo of Telemicro Channel 5, which is one of the largest Dominican channels.

At the bottom: "Thanks Dominican people!"

Lastly, all the sponsors of the event: Banreservas (largest bank of the DR), República La Tuya (a new Dominican beer it doesn't even has half a year in the market and already sponsoring events, lol), Viva (a Dominican telecommunication company), Aster (a Dominican cable company), ADN Santo Domingo (SD's city hall), Comedores Económicos (a chain of low price restaurants all over the DR, basically for the poor and the poor at heart aka cheap), and República Dominicana Lo Tiene Todo (from the Ministry of Tourism).

Some from the New Year's Eve / New Year's Day free concert on Santo Domingo's malecon (seaside palm studded avenue).

"La Cocoband", one of the more popular Merengue groups from the 1980's or 1990's.

Luis Segura, one of the traditional bachata singers. I think he has been singing since the 1970's or 1980's and still going at it. lol

The singer is Silvio Mora. He was born in Switzerland to a Swiss father and a Haitian mother. They decided to return to Hispaniola in the 1990's and settled in Santo Domingo. When he arrived as a kid he didn't know Spanish and was bullied for that by the other kids. Look at him now, speaks Spanish like a native. lol

This is "Chiquito Team Band," currently the most popular of Dominican Salsa bands. They have reached such popularity that their music is heard in radio stations in Spain, throughout Latin America including Puerto Rico and even in Spanish-language radio stations in the USA.

Musicólogo - one of the Dominican singers of Dominican rap/r&b/urban music. The guy dressed in black is Cuban. Definitely, an influence from the USA, particularly the African American community.
