Watch: Woman wheels dead uncle into bank to sign loan
Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes arrested after attempt to secure four-figure sum with the assistance of deceased relative
A woman who wheeled her dead uncle into a bank to allegedly have him sign a four-figure loan in her name has been arrested in Brazil.
Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes was filmed pushing her deceased relative through the bank in a wheelchair and using her hand to keep his head upright.
Bank staff began filming the woman after questioning why her uncle looked so pale.
Ms Nunes asked the corpse “Uncle, are you listening?” as she held a pen between his fingers and attempted to sign paperwork, which according to local media was for a loan agreement worth 17,000 Brazilian Reais (£2,500).
From an earlier news report below: A day before he was taken, already dead, to withdraw money from a loan (worth R17,000) at a bank, the elderly Paulo Roberto Braga was still alive and moving in a wheelchair.
The video was recorded by a security camera of a commercial building Bangu in Rio .
In the video , Paulo was seen resting a hand on the door before entering the premises (@ 0.55 - 0.57).
Next is the disquieting part! After SAMU was called and a medical doctor attended the dead man,
@ 1:46 in the video:
Paul appeared to have suffered a poisoning as a result of contact / exposure to drugs or medications or biological substances. His body had dark spots indicating accumulation of blood that often appears about 2 hours after death.
