I have replied to your PM twice, and left three messages at the phone number you gave me. I have yet to hear back from you, what's up with that?

Next time you offer someone a rental, may I very respectfully suggest that you do your number-crunching before you make promises you cannot keep?

Good day, and good luck.

I think there are some clues here:

How many exactly are "some" cats?
What is in your background that made it more attractive to take a garden shed as housing rather than an apartment or cabin?
Do you always respond to people who try to help you like you did in the post above?

Consider the answers to these questions and you might have more insight into why you are having trouble finding housing.

There is obviously more to it than I have posted here, but please consider that I have chosen not to share all of it in such a public venue. I can assure you it has nothing to do with an undesirably background.

And I don't respond badly to people who try to help me. Again, you don't know the whole story.

I'm not interested in an extended DM or thread argument. You didn't answer questions pertinent to your situation:

How many cats do you have?
What is in your background that landlords object to?
"more to it" - what does that mean?

True, you don't have to tell the whole story here but you are being less than forthright about why you are in this situation. Rentals aren't that hard to find for good tenants. Why did you move here without lining up a solid place to live?

Please note these are just rhetorical questions that landlords will want to know, and are meant to help you figure out why you are having such a hard time finding a place to rent. I don't really care one way or another.

I've warned everyone about cats, yet no one listens.

I am not being less than forthright. I am sharing the relevant information with those who have a right/need to know, and who have asked me privately, in a less accusatory tone. Your initial post did not mention that you are a landlord, therefore I did not consider you someone in that category

I have found a place to rent, and frankly, I beg to differ with you. *Affordable* rentals for people with more than one pet can be *very* hard to find.

I am not interested in an extended debate, either. On that note, I will now consider this conversation at an end.

What do you mean? Warned people who have them, or people who rent to those who have them? Sorry if I missed something that is common knowledge to everyone who knows you, but I am relatively new here, and still figuring out who the regular posters are.
