With the wind scouring the snow off the ski mountain so far this winter, Arctic Valley finally has enough snow to open for business with lifts running today. This is the latest in the season it has opened that I remember.

Arctic Valley ski area is up Arctic Valley Road just north of town between town & Eagle River. It's a volunteer run & operated ski area with 3 lifts.
Arctic Valley - Arctic Valley
It's the latest opening day since we've been involved for the past 12 yrs. But then it's been open since the early 1940.
