Sounds like Anchorage is trying to limit the number of crappy food joints out, lol
Once you have good Italian food, you won't want to eat at Olive Garden ever again. If I'm stuck eating Italian at a chain restaurant, I'm going Maggianos. If I can't get that, I'll settle for Romano's. But Olive Garden? eh, just not that good.

Sometimes I dip it in the buttermilk ranch sauce they have. Mmmm mmmm good!

Okay, remove the Ketchup and grill that sucker and it would be just like the Carl's Junior Grill Chesse Bacon Burger add Tomato.

I find Ketchup rank. Sorry.

Forget J in the Box, what they need is a In & Out. The best.

You all keep making me hungry! I like Olive garden as a fast "italian" food place. Any mom and pop Italian place is going to be better... Same goes for Jack and In and out.. Fast food. Like a checkers, McD's, BK, Wendy's....

When I visit Anchorage, I don't want to eat at a "chain".

Um, wow. Just wow. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there isn't anyone who lives in Alaska so that they can get away from Olive Garden or Jack In The Box. There are a lot of people posting comments that go way beyond the simple, innocent comment that started this thread... someone simply stated that he/she is craving some food that isn't available here. No big deal.

I love living here, but in my opinion it reflects poorly on this great state when people have such an exaggerated, knee-jerk, anti-Lower 48 reaction. Chill pill, folks.
